Fall has finally arrived and it is time for fall lovers everywhere to rejoice. There are many things that make fall the best season of them all, from the food to the fashion and everything in between.

1. Pumpkin everything!

From pumpkin lattes to pumpkin muffins there is no shortage on pumpkin flavored food. Unless the stores run out of course, which actually happened with my favorite creamer. Nevertheless everyone loves pumpkin and it is only in excess in the fall!

2. No intense heat.

Sweat and makeup do not mix at all! Have you ever tried to rock a nice cat eye while walking 10 minutes to class and trying to keep the sweat drop from covering your entire face? It’s a pretty hard battle, and it can get ugly fast. In the fall there is no intense heat and you can wear as much makeup as you want without the worry of smudging and looking like a hot mess.

3. Dark nail colors!

I love getting my nails done, it is one of my little splurges. The best nail time however has to be the fall. When I can wear dark nails without feeling like everyone is thinking I have a dark soul. My personal favorites are burgundy, teal, and brown for.

4. Bring out the clothes, it’s time for layering!

It’s that time of the year where you can show off your clothes! It is not too hot where the less you wear the more comfortable you feel, or too cold where you have to wear a huge coat to keep warm. It is just the right temperature to wear a cute top with a nice jacket, maybe even through on a cute skirt. Not to mention a cute signature scarf to finish the outfit!

5. That fall foliage!

Sure flowers are nice, but have you ever been at the top of a mountain when all the leaves have changed colors, taken in a deep crisp breath of air and looked down? It really is breathtaking when the yellow and reds start to blend into a fiery sight. Or my favorite is just driving on the Merit Parkway when the leaves have changed color. It’s beautiful and only lasts a few weeks.

6. Boot season.

Who doesn’t love boots? I just bought two pairs actually, I say you can never have too many boots! They can be worn with leggings, jeans, skirts, and even shorts if you want to be daring. Boots go with anything and you can start wearing them again in the fall!

7. Cold rainy afternoons.

It might not be everyone’s favorite but when it starts getting colder and it is raining, it is the perfect weather to cuddle up next to your favorite person and read a book. Or watch a scary movie since they are in season now, it’s Halloween month!

8. What goes perfectly with a doozy indoor afternoon? Apple Cider!

Warmed up on the stove with a few sticks of cinnamon just feels wonderful going down all the way to the belly. The cider starts coming out as soon as the temperatures start to drop and the nights start getting shorter, it’s the perfect time.

9. Sweater season.

There’s just something about sweaters that make them totally perfect. So cuddly and warm you just want to stay in them all day. And there are such grand varieties of sweaters, you have dropped shoulders, sweater dresses, v neck, turtleneck, even boyfriend sweaters! It is just the right temperature to show off those amazing comfy sweaters.

10. Apples!

I remember going to the apple orchards when I was younger and the apples had never tasted any better! During the fall they just taste so fresh and crisp, there really isn’t a better time for them.

From pumpkin muffins and lattes to the leaves changing colors, and watching scary movies on TV while sipping on warm apple cider there really isn’t a better season.
