A Thank You Letter To You, Mom

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Scranton chapter.

As Mother’s Day is approaching I spent some time reflecting on how amazing you are Mom. You are not like any other, you are truly one of a kind, my rock, my number one fan and my best friend.  If it was not for you I would not be who I am today.  You pick me up when I am feeling down, listen to me, embrace who I am and most of all love me.  So, mom I wanted to tell you THANK YOU for everything you do for me.  I could never list everything you have done, and continue to do for me, but here are a few things that mean so much to me.

Thank you Mom for birthing me and loving me every day of your life.

Thank you for attending every dance recital, school event, talent show, cheer competition and activity I have done.

Thank you for always supporting my dreams and ambitions, even if they may seem a bit crazy.

Thank you for giving me advice, especially in times of need.

Thank you for calling me every day, I love our phone calls and Face Times!

Thank you for getting me a dog even though you hate pets.

Thank you for doing your best to give me EVERYTHING.

Thank you for having dance parties with me in the kitchen.

Thank you for going to country concerts with me.

Thank you for our Wildwood vacations and beach trips.

Thank you for going shopping with me and giving me the best fashion advice.

Thank you for taking me to church and sending me to Catholic school.

Thank you for helping me love God and being such an amazing role model.

Thank you for teaching me lessons I will value forever.

Thank you for being patient with me and forgiving me when I mess up.

Thank you for being fun, hilarious, full of life and my best friend and pal!

You truly are so amazing Mom, I could not live without you!  I’m so blessed to have you in my life!  You deserve the best today and always!
