Say “HELL YES” to Spring Break

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Scranton chapter.

For two weeks in the Spring, everyone in college gets a small break to sit back and relax. The pressure of tests, assignments, and getting to class on time is over for a short while and everyone can take a huge sigh of relief. If you aren’t working or taking intersession classes, there are many super fun things to do this Spring Break that will have you saying, “HELL YES”.

Plan a Road Trip with your BFFS:

  • Taking a small break away from everyday life with your girlfriends can be super fun. It doesn’t have to be far or expensive. If you live close to a big city or the beach it can be so much fun to take a day trip there and explore. Don’t forget to get some cool pics while you’re there too!

 Pick up a new Hobby:

  • If you can’t afford to travel, try something new! Try taking a dancing class, baking something new, or spending time volunteering at an Animal Shelter. It will keep your mind of what other people on social media may be posting and can help your mindset to stay positive.

Do something you have always dreamed of:

  • You always have wanted that little heart-tattoo on your wrist or to finally go see your favorite band perform. School’s out, so go do it! It is your time to break out of your shell and spend time doing what makes you happy (as long as it’s safe)!

Spring Break is a time to forget about your worries. A time to find what makes you the happiest and indulge in what awesome things life has to offer. So, sit back, relax, and let’s get our Spring Break on.
