Dear woman role model,

Thank you for being you. Thank you for being a bad a**. Thank you for being confident, intelligent, kind, proud and a beautiful woman.

Because of you, I am inspired to be the best person that I can be.

You inspire me to be proud of who I am and who I have become. You inspire me to speak my truth and make my voice heard. You remind me that there is no shame in being a woman.

You make a difference. You install change. You influence impact. You lead the way for all women to start paving their own paths and creating their own legacies.

Thank you for guiding my journey to change the world for the better. I am who I am because of you.

I see the impact you make on the world and I want to do the same. I may not exactly know how to yet. But, I will figure it out along the way, with your help of course.

Your voice is a safe haven for those who can’t speak or don’t have the courage to yet. Your bravery to brings light to others. Your bravery inspires others to join in and uncover hidden truths. There is nothing stopping you from trying to be who you really are, nothing stopping you from breaking down walls. Keep breaking down walls!

No one will ever silence you because you won’t let them. Thank you for being proud of who you are. Thank you for being proud of every inch of skin that God gave you. Thank you for shaking what your mama gave you with no fear.

Thank you for being my role model.

Happy International Women’s Month.
