With fall quickly approaching, it is important to combat the harsh affects that the cold air has on our skin and hair. With less humidity in the air, the moisture gets drawn out of both our hair and skin, which leaves them dull and dry. No one wants that!Revamp your skin and hair routine by switching out some of your summer favorites for something a little more, heavy-duty for the fast approaching fall season.

In this list, I share new additions to my personal routine, as well as my tried and true products. The best part is that all of these products are very affordable. Taking care of your hair and skin is vital, and all the products on this list will help you better, and perfect your beauty routine for all of fall 2019.

1 Shea Moisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Face Oil

Nearly half of my hair and skin products are coconut scented or based, so of course I grabbed this oil when I saw it. This little miracle bottle keeps my face so hydrated. It is made with all fair trade and natural ingredients, plus it is cruelty free. This oil will come in handy once it the temperatures drop to not only assist my moisturizer but shield my face from the effects of the drying air. I use it both morning and night to get its maximum hydrating effects.

2 Garnier Whole Blends Miracle Nectar

When I was little, Garnier was my brand. I used everything Garnier, and I really don’t know why I ever strayed from it. This leave-in product is amazing. It is a new addition to my hair care regimen, and likely to stay. I tried this last week and was amazed. The best part about it is that it did not take away from my natural wave. I still can’t get over how soft my hair feels after applying it. This product will keep your locks polished and nourished all season.

3Physicians Formula All-Over Blur Super CC Cream

The Physicians Formula All-Over Blur Super CC cream is seriously amazing. I am not a fan of super heavy foundation on a day-to-day basis, so when I saw this I was eager to try it. I have been on the hunt for the perfect base for a very long time, and I may just have found it. My skin is usually on the clear side, so a BB or CC cream is all I really need. Ever since I first tried this CC cream, it has been one of my makeup staples. It not only gives me the light coverage I have been looking for, but the product’s moisturizer, foundation and SPF composition protects my skin.

4 Mario Badescu Facial Sprays

I have been using the lavender and rosewater sprays for so long, and just recently tried the cucumber, aloe, and green tea spray scents. Whether it is to wake myself up in the morning with a spritz, refresh my skin in-between classes, or finalize my nightly skin care routine, I always incorporate the Mario Badescu Facial Sprays into my day. These products have elevated my routine and keep my skin feeling fresh and hydrated all day, no matter the weather.

5 Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer

I will be the first to say that I absolutely hate heavy moisturizers. But, I know that my light, the gel moisturizer I use in the summer just won’t cut it as soon as the weather begins to cool down. The Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer is the perfect everyday fall moisturizer if you find yourself in the same situation as me- wanting something that keeps your skin nourished, while not feeling super heavy. No matter your skin type or the time of year, a great moisturizer is a key part of your skin care routine!
