Yes, it is true that there is no Royal football team. But why should that be a bummer when we have so many other athletic teams who need our support?  School spirit does not lack here at The University of Scranton, and for those who cannot contain their rowdiness- your prayers have been answered.  On Wednesday, November 5th our Royal community will be able to partake in a HUGE pep-rally, otherwise known as Midnight Madness.

For years, Midnight Madness has brought students together to show their pride for the amazing athletic teams. It is more than an average pep-rally. With performances from our very own Urban Beats Crew, the dance team, and the cheerleaders, entertainment will be far from dull.

Get ready for giveaways, raffles, three-point competitions, and-wait for it- Wolf Pack T-shirts! There is something for everyone to do. Spread the word, the party starts at 10:30 p.m. in the John Long Center and ends at, you guessed it, midnight. Make sure you show up decked out in all things purple and white. Bring your energy, school spirit, and as much peppiness as you can!

Admission is not free, but an amazing way to raise money for the Thanksgiving Food Drive! To gain entry you must either provide a can of nonperishable food or donate $2.00. This event is sponsored by The University of Scranton Student Government, USPB, and the University of Scranton Athletics. What a great time to take a break from endless hours of school work. Save the date, your Wolf Pack needs you!

Scranton '18

My whole biography realistically can't fit here so
Elise is a Jersey girl who loves to travel the world, she enjoys keeping up with the latest fashion trends and believes an Instagram a day keeps the doctor away. She is a senior at the University of Scranton majoring in Strategic Communication with a minor in Writing. Elise is the Campus Correspondent of Her Campus Scranton, which she co-founded in September 2014 with her best friend Samantha (every brunette needs a blonde right?) This past summer she interned in Public Relations at The Thomas Collective, a boutique lifestyle agency in New York City. When her toes are not in the sand, she’s hailing a cab or packing her bags ready to jet set anywhere and everywhere. Fun Fact: Elise is a member of Scranton’s Equestrian team. Follow her on Instagram @liseyleelee and on Twitter @eliseteresa!
