What made you choose The University of Scranton?
It sounds so cliché but to be honest as soon as I stepped on campus I knew that this was where I needed to spend four years of my life! Also doing Royal Nights was a big factor but as soon as I got in the car with my dad to leave I told him to send the check!!!
Â
What clubs are you involved with on campus?
Oh my! I am a resident assistant, I am the publicity co-chair for the programming board and I also am a cast member of the Liva Arts Company’s production of Spring Awakening. I also love to attend all the various events that our campus offers so I am always out and about!
Â
How do you manage to stay so involved with all of your activities as well as have time to study?
I am really good at working under pressure!! It may seem like I have a lot but there are opportunities during the day between classes to get my work done and I really take advantage of that! This semester is also a light load for me because I have 3 classes and an internship.
Â
How do you blow off steam?
What steam? Just kidding, I am big fan of venting, taking two minutes alone and just letting everything out and then once I’m done with that I feel so much better! I always love to shower – weird I know – but it really helps to get rid of stress.
Â
Out of all of your activities on campus, what would you consider your favorite? Why?
Oh boy! There have been so many amazing opportunities that I have loved and only got to experience because of the U but I would have to say this semester is the first one I am performing with Liva and I love being on stage and entertaining so I would say that is my favorite one thus far.

What is the best experience you’ve had at The University of Scranton?
EVERYTHING!! Omygosh I love everything about being here but I must say the best experience that I have had at the U is my freshmen year. There were definitely rough times but overall my floor was the best. We had so many amazing times with each other and they are still some of my closest friends to this day. I couldn’t have asked for a better freshmen experience. I will always remember lower level Nevils!
