This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Scranton chapter.

Name: Hannah Howard

Year: Sophomore

Major: Counseling and Human Services

Minor: Psychology

Hometown: West Chester, Pennsylvania

Hannah Howard is the most genuine person you could ever meet. She is always full of positive energy brightening the lives around her. Her dedication and passion to help others is truly inspiring. Hannah is currently a tour guide for the University as she possesses all the qualities and talents to persuade and encourage prospective students to attend the U.

HC: Why did you decide to become a tour guide?

HH: I love to interact with people. It has become an amazing opportunity to meet people from all over the world interested in attending Scranton. I wanted to share my Scranton story with everyone and now I get to!

HC: What is your favorite part about being a tour guide?

HH: I love that each tour I give is different. Families tend to ask different questions each tour. I love to accommodate each tour group to the specific needs of each person.

HC: What is your favorite thing about the University of Scranton?

HH: I have met some of the greatest people in the past two years here. I love how friendly everyone is here. Scranton truly is my second home!

HC: What are your plans for the future?

HH: I wish to attend grad school to continue my studies in counseling and human services. My dream is to work for CHOP as a child life specialist to help families and children in need.

HC: Name three fun facts about yourself!

HH: 1. I was a competitive dancer for twelve years. 2. My favorite animal is an elephant! 3. I have donated my hair three times to Locks of Love.

HC: Lastly, if people spot you on campus what are you most likely doing?

HH: Eating grilled chicken and mac and cheese at the POD.

Hannah keeps a busy schedule here at the University! She is always on the move and can always be found floating around the commons. If you are lucky enough, hopefully you will have the privilege to meet Hannah Howard during your time here!
