In my relationship of five years I spent three of those years learning what love is love and how to express it. Looking back now I was always in love with my partner without truly knowing. Here are three signs that may mean you are in love!

You become obsessed with your partner

Obsessed in the healthiest way possible. When you are in love you want to know everything about the person you are dating. They’re the best part of your day, the first thing you think of in the morning and they’re your best friend. They become the person that at first made you smile to become your greatest source of happiness. Once you learn everything about your partner you begin to love everything about them.

Sex drive increases

This is a no brainer but when you are in love, sexual intimacy is on a different level. It becomes less about the physical connection but more about the emotional bond you are creating with your partner. Even though love can be different things for different people mixing love and pleasure is an amazing thing and something to embrace. There is no such thing of having too much of your partner.

You’re afraid to lose them

When you’re in love, you start to plan you future and life with your partner in it. You can no longer imagine your life without that person. When you look ahead,  you know there’s nothing you can’t handle with your partner by your side. This fear is a healthy fear where you never stop working on making each other happy so you never become complacent in the relationship.
