Fall is one of my favorite seasons, and one of my favorite times to show off my nails. Here is how to keep your nails looking perfect this fall!

First, make sure you are using nail oil every day. This seems really simple, but it makes a huge difference. Oils with jojoba in them are the best for preventing fragile nail breaks, which are common in the fall when the air gets colder.

In terms of polish, I would go for a darker or more pigmented polish: purples, reds, burgundies, and darker neutrals are always great go-to colors. But when using darker colors, be sure to use a base coat, to prevent your nails from staining. Darker colors are also great to pair with a matte topcoat, it gives the color a softer, cozier look that I think is perfect for this season.

If you are looking to add a little more design for your nails, but aren’t great at free handing designs, you can buy nail stickers or stencils for not much money at nail supply

stores or off of Amazon. These make your nails look like they are professionally done and can really take you look to the next level. Personally, I love making designs like pumpkins, ghosts, leaves, and bats as my fall nail designs—they are great options if you don’t know what to do.

Finally, always wear a topcoat. This is such a basic step, but it can be all the difference in your manicure lasting a couple days verses a couple weeks without chipping. I hope all these tips and tricks help you to perfect your fall mani!
