The Amazing Fall Drink for the Non-Coffee Drinker

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Scranton chapter.

This is going to be a hot take, but I cannot stand the taste of coffee… I am 21 years old and do not drink coffee. I never got hooked at a young age to the sugar loaded Dunkin caramel iced coffees and Starbucks Frappuccino’s.

I cannot tell you how jealous I am of all of my coffee-drinking friends because I want to like it so badly. I want to be able to go to a local coffee shop and order a delicious coffee. Even when I studied abroad in Florence, I didn’t like the best coffee in the world. I think the smell is amazing but the after taste is horrible. I feel like when people drink it, they feel heavy. I am glad in a way that I don’t waste my money or calories on it!

My lovely grandmother got me hooked on drinking tea at a young age. My fluids throughout the day consists of water, cranberry juice and a seltzer water. I occasionally enjoy a Diet Pepsi or a refresher from Starbucks. The reason I like Starbucks is because I can enjoy all kinds of refresher drinks and my personal favorite, an Iced Chai Tea Latte. I like the Starbucks experience because I can enjoy the coffee house vibe with my friends, all sipping their coffee beverages.

I am totally obsessed with this fall drink that I of course found on Tik Tok. Amanda Ensing on Tik Tok shared a video that got 350.0K likes of an Iced Chai Latte with Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam. Let me tell you… it was to die for. It tastes like you are drinking pumpkin pie. We are resourceful queens who do not use straws, but you have to taste the foam and chai all at once. You will all fall in love with this drink I am telling you. Today I added the sugar-free vanilla syrup and it made it even better. If there is one thing to do in this cruel world… try this delicious, fall drink!
