11 Gifts for Your Besties $20 or Less

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Scranton chapter.

The best time of year- the holidays- are rolling around and obviously you want to get your squad something amazing, right? However, on the broke college student budget, finding the perfect gift on such short funds can be difficult. Luckily, here are 11 different gifts you can give to your BFFs without breaking the bank!

Forever 21
Forever 21 is the go to place for cheap gifts. I usually buy jewelry from here but there are about a million other options. Here are four possibilities, but check out their website for more gifts under $10, $20 and $50

Marled over the knee socks- $6.90

Socks are a personal favorite gift of mine and no girl can have too many pairs of knee high socks. Between looking cute with a pair of boots and keeping your legs warm in the dorms, these socks are perfect for any occasion, and at $6.90 they’re an absolute steal!

Ankit Rainbow Metallic Phone Power Bank- $9.90

These portable chargers are an absolute lifesaver at concerts or any day trip. They are great for anything from beach trips, to journeys to the city, to just a day at the mall.

Ultimate Brush set- $6.90

Any makeup fanatic will jump at the thought of new brushes, myself included. These brushes have the high quality feel of Sephora or Ulta brand, but will definitely save you quite a few bucks. These ones also come with a brow brush and lash comb, which you usually have to buy separately.

Quilted Velvet Crossbody- $14.90

Cross body bags are a perfect addition to any girl’s wardrobe, and this one is the perfect size to fit your phone, lipstick, and any other small items you need for a party or event. You can even tuck the chain inside and make it a clutch!

Urban Outfitters
Urban Outfitters is well known for having some of the most expensive articles of clothing in the world. However, during the holiday season, they have a section of cheap gifts for less than $25.

The Mindfulness Coloring Book: Anti-Stress Art Therapy For Busy People By Emma Farrarons- $9.95

Adult coloring books are all the rage right now, and they are a perfect gift for your artsy, creative BFF. Coloring has also been proving to reduce stress so any college student would jump on this gift!

This dish is really cute and actually a very practical place to store anything from jewelry to IDs to keys. It also fits into any sort of room décor!

Super-Wide Angle Phone Camera Lens- $20

This is a lens that attaches to your phone to give the fish eye effect you may recognize from Photobooth effects. It takes great pictures and will definitely add a little extra pizzazz to future Instagram posts

Charlotte Russe

This is a very cute and very warm scarf, perfect for walking to class or to dress up a simple outfit. And for only $16.99 it is an absolute steal!
