In remembrance of the late David Bowie, many designers have decided to honor him and his impact within the fashion industry through their shows this fashion week. One designer in particular who has dedicated the theme of their show to Bowie is none other than Margiela.
The models dawned choppy wigs and glitter makeup inspired by Bowies Stardust days. The mullet wigs were shown in black, purple and teal.
As for makeup, many models wore natural faces with one eye highlighted in glitter. One even had an eyebrow colored lighter than their other. This was inspired by Bowie’s medical condition, Anisocoria. This caused one of his eyebrows to appear lighter than the other. Other models had two-toned Goth lipstick. Others just had bright red mouths painted on their neck. Below is the video of the out-of-this-world show.
