How to Recover After Spring Break with the HC Survival Kit!

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SCAD chapter.

Spring Break is officially underway! Many of you are probably soaking up the sun, taking a rad vacation, or just spending some well deserved relaxation time at home. After the past quarter we had, I think it’s safe to say we all needed this time to breathe and take some time for ourselves. However, as much as I hate to admit it, we are down to only one more week of freedom until it’s time to head back, and many times, we start to adjust to this lazy period. It can be hard getting back into the swing of things and starting over with brand new classes, but luckily, our HC Survival Kit came in just in time to help us adjust with ease! Check out some of our new favorite products, and how they can get you back to your proactive self in no time:

1. Erin Condren Planner/Markers Set

When it comes to SCAD’s demanding schedule, it’s hard to keep up with everything and stay organized. Erin Condren’s beautiful planners and markers are the perfect way to keep everything organized and on track for our fast deadlines. With little bits of motivation, calming colors, and an easy to navigate format, the planner is designed to help busy artists stay sane and ready to tackle anything that comes our way, including that design project we’ve been putting off for two weeks. We also love the markers that came with it, which are perfect to color code things, or even just to add a little bit of color to our every day lives.

2. L’Oreal Paris Self Tanners

Once we get back to Savannah, we all know the opportunity to keep our perfect sunkissed glow starts to diminish, and soon enough we all turn back to our pale selves as we retreat to the dorms or classes for the majority of the day. However, this doesn’t have to be the case! Fool everyone around and keep your Spring Break tan with L’Oreal Paris’s Sublime Bronze products, which come in either a lotion or towlette form. These are the perfect way to keep you looking fresh faced, and even help you push through the last quarter until you can hit the beach again in summer.

3. Actually She Can Magazine

I don’t know about you, but being surrounded by so many talented artists and faculty can be a bit intimidating, and sometimes leaves me to doubt my abilities and skillset. This magazine is such an inspiring publication, and is perfect for ambitious, proactive artists who need a little pick me up. Filled with career advice, success stories, and motivation, Actually She Can is a must-read for Spring Quarter and really helps to get in the right mindset to finish out this year strong!

4. Charlotte Tillbury Matte Revolution Lipstick

No matter where you’re going, a bold matte lip is always in style. These matte lipsticks by Charlotte Tillbury so so soft, full of color, and the perfect addition to any outfit, whatever the occasion might be. The start of a new quarter can sometimes feel a bit lackluster, but adding a little something special and treating yourself with a touch of glam is just the pick me up to get you through the day.

5. Juicy Couture Black Label Earrings

These little studs are perfect for spicing up any outfit! Whether you decide to mix or match, adding a little bit of sparkle to your daily look is sure to give you that extra boost of confidence as you strut down the halls. We love that they came with options to choose how you style them, and they are small enough that they add a pop of fun, but don’t distract from your ensemble as a whole.

6. Psssst! Dry Shampoo

Alright collegiates, let’s be real: we all have our lazy days. Dry shampoo is a true lifesaver for us, whether our messy hair was caused by an all nighter study session, a final project, or even just a crazy night of partying downtown. This particular dry shampoo is tropical scented, and an absolute dream to use. We may not be able to stay on the beach forever, but at least our hair can smell beachy fresh!

We had such a great time playing around with all these products, and are so thankful for our wonderful sponsors who sent these goodies out to us! Now go ahead, enjoy the rest of your spring break- you can come back feeling confident and motivated with a little help from HC SCAD.
