Yes ladies, winter is almost over! We love our scarves, boots and big coats, but lets face it; we are ready to put them away, and bring on the sun. Summer may be far away, but spring is coming, and there are some trends to look out for. This year, we have seen a turn in fashion, that is taking a little more than interest in sportswear. Spring trends have taken influence from sportswear, to make something that every fashionista should love. According to WGSN , the fashionista guide, there are 4 trends to have on your radar. They are comfortable, bold, elaborate, and expressive, but it takes a fashionista to make it her own.

1. Miami Memphis-

Sportswear, influenced with dusted-pale tones, colors and modern-art inspired prints. It’s filled with long line waistcoats, wide-leg pants, skorts, camis, boxy tees, slogan tees and most of all,  the most popular for this season….. distressed- knee jeans.  This trend includes bright colors, comfortable, and fashionable. 3 things every girl wants.

2. Asia  Nautica

This trend is your florals. It still includes relaxed silhouttes, but there is a more feminie fill to this trend than sportsy. This trend is filled with kimono jackets, origami-inspired  folded panels on tops, and orinetal florals on matching seperates.

3.Rave Camper

This trend is for the party girl, who still wants to be sporty, comfortable, but still fashionable. Filled with mashed-up prints, neon colors, lightweight parkas, bra tops, sport shorts, knitted vests, and most importantly distressed denim. Prints include camo/animal, dark tropical motifs and reworked Aztec prints. This gives off a fun-raved look.

4. Nomadic Glamour

The 70’s are back! Another trend coming back in 2015, it is filled with the flares of the pants, high-waisted shorts and handkerchief hem skirts, nightie dresses, gypsy blouses and one-shoulder tops, giving off a boho look. The fabrics include handcrafted looking lace, and cheesecloth with fringe, so you can get the real 70’s look, but much more subtle.

As a trendsetter, there are many ways to wear these trends to make it your own. You can mix two, three or even all four of the trends together, and make it your own. No fashionista follows the trend exactly, and that’s what makes each of us special. So when shopping for next season, keep in mind these trends, to not to be exact-but to be cohesive, fashionable and on the scene.
