If you didn’t know, yes, Starbucks has a rewards system. The systen has been around for easily the last couple of years, and it’s gone through a couple iterations. First, you gained rewards with purchase, no matter the dollar amount. The most recent iteration allowed you to gain stars based on the dollar amount of your purchase. For every dollar you spend you receive 2 stars. 125 stars gets you a free food or drink item. You can also get a free reward on your birthday, whether you’re using the app for purchases or not. Honestly, the system is pretty great for frequent customers. It’s a lot easier now to gain rewards. I like to share my app with friends and family so I can gain more stars more quickly.

The New System!

On April 16th, Starbucks launched their new system for rewards. Instead of racking up 125 stars for free rewards, you can redeem stars for smaller rewards.

Rewards you can NOW get with stars:

25 stars – Customize your drink (espresso shot, dairy substitute, syrup and more)

50 stars – Brewed hot coffee, bakery item or hot tea

150 stars – Handcrafted drink, hot breakfast or parfait

200 stars – Lunch sandwich, protein box, or salad

400 stars – Select mechandise or at home coffee (Up to $20)

What’s Been Around

The Starbucks App allows you to pay with your app. If you’re all about earning stars, Starbucks offers two types of cards you can sign up for (prepaid card or visa credit card). With these stars, you can earn stars on purchases outside of starbucks. If you’re not a member now, just consider it, even if it’s for your free birthday drink.

My inquisitive nature enables me to discover efficient ways of streamlining marketing approaches to reach target audience. The process of translating various topics into a collection of garments after intensive research and visual development, makes me feel empowered because it is a unique medium of self-expression. However, I am fully aware of the importance of marketing a product in order to gain the best results which makes me equally passionate about both the aspects of Fashion World
