4 Looks from The Grammys Red Carpet 2019 That Can Be Recreated for the Everyday Girl

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SCAD ATL chapter.

Last Sunday, the biggest award show in the music industry, The Grammy’s, took place in Los Angeles. The Grammy’s are known to be the most important night for the artist to seek validation for their work and for the whole world to see. Another part that makes the “Grammy’s” the “Grammys” is that it’s known for the most outrageous fashion statements on the red carpet and the thing we talk about in pop culture from social media to television even to the fashion blogs. Although the looks on the Grammy red carpet are always over the top, we often think to ourselves when seeing these ensembles and imagine, how can the everyday girl pull this off and get away with it walking down the street and not be looked like they’re crazy?

Here are some looks and trends on music’s biggest night carpet that you can corrupt with your wardrobe, whether it’s evening or everyday wear.

1. Fuchsia

Fuchsia came in hot on the Spring 2019 runaway now this hot pink is heating up the red carpet. This season is no expectation with this fuchsia number that Camila Cabello rocked on the Grammy’s red carpet. Get ready because these perfects find you can wear on girl’s night out or a cocktail party. Your wardrobe will “Never Will Be the Same“.

2. Pantsuits

Show off your inner boss ass bitch with a pantsuit. A pantsuit is classical, with its chic and sophisticated touch. You can rock them from day to night from work, to a cocktail party, even to a night out for drinks.  Pantsuits were a big trend on the Grammy’s red-carpet last year and this year is no expectation. Just take a page out of Miley Cyrus’s book from her look from this year on the Grammy’s red-carpet. I promise you. You are going to look “bangin”.

3. Silver Embellishments

Shine like a disco ball and embrace your “Saturday Night Fever” with a show-stopping silver embellished dress that Lady Gaga rocked at the Grammy’s. This metallic trend is something that can make you stand out at any local bar you go to, looking dapper in a black-tie event, or even tear up the dance floor. Be the center of attention and embrace your inner dancing queen with this bold fashion statement.

4. White Jumpsuits

Who says you can’t wear white after Labor Day well these stars on the red-carpet certainly don’t follow the rule with these sleek and chic powerful white jumpsuits. Jenny from The Block is coming in hot with this white embellished jumpsuit ensemble and Meghan Trainor is definitely all about that bass with this sexy plunge neckline white sequin jumpsuits. Jumpsuits definitely dominated the carpet this year. Jumpsuits are the definition of a #girl boss outfit you can mix them up and wear them from day or night to a date night, to a gala or even to work but a little tip here just a tone it down like a wide-leg or a boiler suit.
