What I’m Looking Forward To

Celeste Robbins Student Contributor, St. Bonaventure University
This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SBU chapter and does not reflect the views of Her Campus.

I think that it’s important to have things to look forward to. For me, having something exciting coming up motivates me. It’s so easy to get burnt out especially at this point in the semester. Also, since it’s getting colder it is a lot harder for people to stay positive. Senioritis is also kicking me in the butt. I decided to make a list of things that I’m looking forward to in order to stay motivated. Maybe my list will even inspire you to do the same.

Thanksgiving is coming up.

I love Thanksgiving. The food is amazing and it just makes fall feel like fall. I could honestly eat Thanksgiving food every day. It’s also the perfect segue into the Christmas season. The day starts with a parade which I always look forward to, then there’s a meal shared with friends and family, lastly there’s football. I’m especially looking forward to the Chiefs and Bills game on Thanksgiving night. The Chiefs will be winning. (Sorry not sorry Bills fans). I’m also looking forward to the break and spending it with fellow Her Campus member, Gabby.

I’m going to two concerts.

Am I officially a concert addict yet? I have two concerts currently lined up. First, I have sombr in November and then Harry Styles in May. I still can’t believe that I’m seeing Harry Styles, something that I’ve dreamed of for years. I’ve been to three big concerts so far and I’m looking forward to my next two. The three I’ve been to include, Twenty One Pilots, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and Tate McRae. I’ve always been jealous of people who get to go to a bunch of concerts. I’m so grateful that I’ve had the chance to see some of my favorite artists live.

Halloweekend.

By the time this article is out it will be day two of Halloweekend. This is my last Halloweekend in college and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve been carefully planning out and crafting my costumes. Thursday I’m being Cameron Frye from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Gabby, who I mentioned before, is being Ferris. Friday is still up in the air but I know whatever I come up with will be fun. I’m most excited for Saturday. My roommates and I are being characters from My Little Pony. I’m being Princess Celestia of course. I’m going all out for the costume and can’t wait to take pictures with my roommates and enjoy the Halloweekend fun.

The Pitt Season Three

The Pitt is currently one of my favorite tv shows. My roommates introduced me to the show, and we’ve been watching it together. I typically don’t watch medical dramas, but this one is just different. There are only two seasons of it so far and I’m ready for the third.
