For the last few weeks, everywhere I look, I have been seeing things that have revolved around Christmas. I love Christmas and spending time with my family. My favorite thing to do, however, is to cozy up with some blankets and hot cocoa to watch some Christmas movies.

There are a lot of Christmas movies that I have seen , and a lot of them are good movies. Like everyone, I have my favorite Christmas movies that I grew up watching. So, without further ado, here is a list of my favorite Christmas movies and why.

  1. “A Christmas Story”

This movie is one of my ultimate favorite movies because it reminds me of Christmas with all of my family. We normally watch this movie while we open presents on Christmas mornings. This movie is also just hilarious and has so many quotes that are hilarious. It is perfect for a warm-hearted night when you want to laugh.

  1. “Eight Crazy Nights”

This movie was made by Adam Sandler, and he is one of my favorite comedians. This movie is a movie that is not for everyone, as it has a certain sense of humor, and it has some vulgar language, but it is a super funny movie. It also has some pretty catchy songs within the movie.

  1. “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”

This movie is another one that I grew up watching throughout my childhood. My favorite iteration of this movie is the one that stars Jim Carrey because I love his acting, and he is really funny. I also love how many funny quotes there are in the movie, and it never gets old to watch.

  1. “Santa Claus: The Movie”

I love watching this movie, specifically with my dad, because it is one of his favorite movies, and it is just such a wholesome movie. If I just want to watch a relaxing movie, this is the one that I watch.

  1. “Elf”

This is one of the funniest Christmas movies that I have ever seen. I love the way that Will Ferrell plays the role, and the way that he says some of the lines makes it even better. If I want to sit on my couch and laugh, this is one of the movies that I will put on. I also love the heartfelt change that there is when everyone is singing, and they save Santa at the end.

  1. “The Polar Express”

I loved this movie when I was a kid and I always wanted The Polar Express to come to my house when I was a kid. I love the songs from the movie as well and still listen to the soundtrack when I want to get into the Christmas spirit. Looking back and watching it now, the animation is kind of scary, but it is still so much fun to watch.

  1. “The Muppet Christmas Carol”

I love the play “A Christmas Carol,” and the Muppets just make it so much better because I grew up watching the Muppets. I also love the fact that they made it into a musical because it made the movie better, since the songs are amazing to listen to. I also just feel like the Muppets make me happy to watch, so whenever I watch them, my mood is always better after.

  1. “Four Christmases”

This is one of my favorite movies because it is really funny, and I remember watching it a lot as a child, too. The movie also has a lot of great actors in it that make it so much better to watch because the actors are so good at it.

Those are some of my favorite Christmas movies; there are so many more movies that I love. Christmas movies make me feel happy because they remind me of my family and the time that I spend with them.
