Surviving Spring Break Thanks to Her Campus

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SBU chapter.

Being a chapter for Her Campus is rewarding in itself, but what makes us even more of a family is how well the Her Campus Corporation takes care of its chapters. Our Spring Break Survival Kit was nothing less than perfect to kick off the spring, although our spring in Southwestern New York has been greeted with a few blankets of snow.

1. AZO Cranberry Gummies

As many know, Her Campus main members are the women of the colleges and universities throughout the United States. It’s wonderful to be a part of a corporation that cares so much about the health of its women. These gummies, two of which can equal a 10-ounce glass of cranberry juice, are trusted by women to relieve UTI pain and maintain a healthy urinary tract.

2. Brappz Strap

Brappz Straps are straps that can be put into place on outfits that don’t have enough support for the girls but can also be used for other things. They can be used as an accessory such as a necklace or bracelet, a hair tie and even shoe laces! We’d never heard of Brappz until we received the survival kit and we’re learning about the ways you can use them.

3. Milani Eyeliner

This marvelous eyeliner comes in three colors which include purple, turquoise and inky black. It’s also waterproof which means it won’t be running down your face from your tears of laughter during a girl’s night out until you decide you want to take it off with makeup remover. Milani’s formula and precision tip will make you look fabulous.

4. TRESemme Beauty-Full Volume Pre-wash Conditioner and Beauty-Full Volume Shampoo

We would’ve never thought to use a conditioner before using shampoo. TRESemme has enlightened us with a new product that creates volume and life in our college dorm dust ridden hair. The pre-wash conditioner reinforces the hair’s natural protective layers and the shampoo removes all the excess dirt and grime from our hair, leaving it voluptuous and soft to the touch.

5. CEA Study Abroad cards

We always dream of travelling the world and the word is that college is the best time to travel by studying abroad. CEA Study Abroad provides undergraduate programs all year round in 12 different countries. They’re currently enrolling for summer and fall and have reached out Her Campus to help spread the good news. Spending time in a foreign country provides perspective that you wouldn’t necessarily find just being in the US.

We are always thankful here at our SBU Her Campus Chapter and we are always reminded of the love and care Her Campus has for its members. Happy spring!
