My playlists are all over the place right now. I used to take my Spotify very seriously. I’ve had my Spotify account since early high school, so when I click shuffle, I never know what my ears will hear.

Here are a couple of my favorite playlists:

November: pretty self-explanatory. This one doesn’t have too many songs on it. I can tell I was in a happy mood. I enjoy looking back at my playlists to see what I was feeling or thinking while making/or listening to them.

some songs on this playlist: “Skin” by Dijon, “Reborn” by KIDS SEE GHOSTS, “Patience” by Tame Impala, “Sadnrcessary” by Milky Chance, “Enter Galactic (Love Connection Part 1)” by Kid Cudi, “Amour Plastique” by Videoclub, “Açaí Bowl” by Dominic Fike, “Weird Fishes/Arpeggi” by Radiohead, “Needs” by Verzache and “Gap in the Clouds” by Yellow Days.

New year…same me: This playlist was all over the place. It started off with some badass songs, then took a turn with some deep lyric songs.

some songs: “I Wouldn’t Ask You” by Clario, “No Cryin” by dvsn and Future, “Under The Moon” by 070 Shake, “That’s on Me” by Mac Miller, “Hit Me Up” by Omar Apollo, Dominic Fike and Kenny Beats, “Snap Out Of It” by Arctic Monkeys, “Body Aint Me” by Pink Sweat$ and “affection” by BETWEEN FRIENDS.

Let me go already: This one brings back many emotions for me (mostly tears). I was trying to let someone go who was terribly poisonous to and for me. I put fault on myself, and my playlist really showed it.

some songs:“i don’t rly like you” by ROLE MODEL, “10%” by KAYTRANADA and Kali Uchis, “I’m Not In Love” by Kelsey Lu, “feel something” by Bea Miller, “On My Own” by Jaden and Kid Cudi, “Woo” by Rihanna, “Halo” by Cage The Elephant, “welcome and goodbye” by Dream, Ivory, “You and I” by LEON and “A Rush Of Blood To the Head” by Coldplay.

Maybe I should let you go: I’d say this is growth from the last playlist…I was facing reality more

some songs: “Burning” by Maggie Rogers, “Like Gold” by Vance Joy, “Young & Sad” by Noah Cyrus, “Ghost” by Noah Cyrus, “Sorry” by Nothing But Thieves, “Leray” by Trippie Redd, “Y U Gotta B Like That” by Audrey Mika and KYLE, “To Be So Lonely” by Harry Styles, “The Most” by Miley Cyrus, “VERY ALONE” by Zaia, “DREAMER” by Trippie Redd, “Mess” by Lil Wayne, “Expensive” by Rence and Noah Cyrus, “Dear April (Side A-Acoustic)” by Frank Ocean and “You Were My Girl” by Palmas.

October: I was definitely in better spirits.

some songs: “Sofia” by Clario, “Baby I’m Yours” by Arctic Monkeys, “Cherry Flavoured” by The Neighbourhood, “64′” by Kaash Paige, “Malibu 1992” by COIN, “White Flag” by Clario, “Home” by Edith Whiskers and “Simple Things (Remix)” by Miguel, Chris Brown and Future.

Happy

Ok, I think everyone gets it. I love music. I’m constantly adding new music to playlists every day. I have over 4,000 liked songs on my Spotify, so I’m surprised I could stop myself while writing this. I enjoy sharing my playlists with my friends, following other playlists and searching for new music weekly. I correspond music with memories (good and bad) and am honestly so thankful for the talented artists who sing and produce the music that I love. Whenever you’re in doubt, turning on music is always my answer. Music has a way of helping me understand emotions better than words and even feelings.

I hope you enjoyed some of my shared music!
