Every Halloween, one of my favorite things to do is scroll through TikTok and Instagram to see what everyone dressed up as. Some people are incredibly creative, and others manage to put together costumes that are funny, nostalgic, or just effortlessly cute. After seeing so many amazing costumes online, I have started keeping a mental list of all the costumes I want to do in the Halloweens to come. So, thank you to everyone who posted on social media; you are my inspiration.

Hercules and Meg

This one might be at the top of my list, especially because of the hair color combination. Being a brunette with a ginger boyfriend makes Hercules and Meg an almost perfect match. They are a recognizable Disney couple, but still a little different from the typical Halloween costumes you see every year. I love the idea of recreating their outfits and getting the little details right.

Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham

Studying abroad while watching the World Cup is what originally got me obsessed with these two soccer players. Between watching games, following the teams, and getting caught up in the excitement surrounding the tournament, Haaland and Bellingham became two names I immediately associated with soccer. I think dressing up as these two would be such a funny and unexpected group costume. All you really need are their jerseys and the right hairstyles.

Herb brooks and THE USA hockey team

As someone who grew up playing hockey, Miracle on Ice has always been one of my favorite movies. The story behind the 1980 USA Olympic hockey team makes this costume especially meaningful to me. I would love to dress up as Herb Brooks, complete with the iconic USA hockey coach look, while everyone else dresses as members of the team. It would be such a fun way to incorporate something that has been a huge part of my life growing up. Plus, I think this would be one of the most recognizable group costumes.

Jeff Probst

If there is one reality television show I could watch forever, it is Survivor. I have always loved the challenges, alliances, blindsides, and unpredictable moments that make the show so entertaining. Dressing up as Jeff Probst would be hilarious, especially if I could convince friends to dress as contestants. Of course, the microphone and classic host outfit would be essential. The only thing missing would be a dramatic tribal council with snuffed torches.

Lisa Rinna and Rob Rausch

After becoming completely obsessed with The Traitors following its fourth season, Rob Rausch quickly became someone I wanted to incorporate into a Halloween costume. Pairing him with Lisa Rinna would make such an entertaining combination. Between Lisa’s iconic personality and Rob’s memorable reality-TV presence, this costume would definitely take the cake.

Halloween is the perfect excuse to have fun, be creative, and dress up as someone completely different for a night. Whether it is a nostalgic Disney couple, an iconic hockey coach, or a reality television personality, I have plenty of ideas waiting for their moment.
