Flannel Jackets

Flannels are definitely a popular and must have for fall. When I think of fall, I think of pumpkin spice and flannel season. This year I have noticed more people with flannel jackets rather than just button up flannel shirts. The jackets are really cute and stylish and are perfect to start bundling up when it gets chilly. The jackets are a little bit thicker than a normal flannel, and you can find them in all sorts of colors from brown and green to pink and purple.

“Grandpa Sweaters”

Where do I even start? Personally, these sweaters are my favorite no matter what time of year it is. I don’t actually know if they’re called “grandpa sweaters” but that’s what I am used to calling them. These sweaters can be so cute and usually you can find them in all kinds of colors and patterns. Another great thing about these sweaters is that you don’t have to go spending a fortune on them because most of the time you can find them at your local thrift store.

Ugg Tasman Slippers

You have most likely seen the new Ugg Tasman slippers just about everywhere you go. Every time I go somewhere I see someone wearing them. As an owner of them myself I can tell you that they are definitely worth the money. They are so soft and comfy and come in all sorts of colors like black, white, brown, green, pink etc. If you can’t necessarily purchase the brand name ones because I mean honestly, they’re a little pricey. You can find many other sources such as Temu or Shein that sell the “dupes” for a more affordable price.

Puffer Vests

Next, we have puffer vests. Whenever I walk around campus, I always see people wearing puffer vests. At first, I was not a fan because they just looked ‘off’. Now that I see more and more people wearing them, they actually do look pretty cute and comfortable. In fact, I have been seeing them on so many people, guys and girls, that it convinced me to get one for myself. Personally, I think these vests look best with some type of sweater or a basic crewneck underneath it.

Sweater + Mini Skirt Combo

Attention all my fall girlies: sweaters and miniskirts are literally a perfect match. This outfit is perfect especially if you want to embrace a more feminine look in your outfit. A basic, plain miniskirt and a patterned sweater or vice versa will be a perfect outfit for your fall photo-op. You can get either of these items from basically any clothing store whether it is Walmart, Old Navy, T.J. Maxx or if you want you can also try and thrift them.

Birkenstock Slides

These new Birkenstock slides are like the “fall/winter” version of their sandals. These come in handy because they are closed toed, and you can just throw on a pair of socks and slide them right on. I have seen actually more men than women wearing them but ultimately, they are made for everybody. A perfect fall outfit would be a pair of loose jeans with a sweater and a simple pair of Birkenstock slides.
