I am a huge fan of trying to find clothes that are cute enough to avoid looking like a slob but that are also comfortable enough to sit through class in. Here are a few of my favorite things to wear on campus in the winter:

Cowl-neck sweaters

These sweaters are very comfortable and fashionable. You can easily pair it with leggings and boots for a cute look that will make you feel nice and cozy all day long.

Puffy vest

This is slowly becoming my favorite go-to accessory during those cold-weather months. You can throw it over any sweater, flannel or long-sleeve shirt to change up your look a little bit.

Chunky scarves

This is another favorite accessory of mine. You can layer a big scarf over a sweater, a shirt or a jacket to keep you warm. Throw your hair up into a bun, and you’ll have a great, casual look for any occasion.

Timberlands

This may be a personal preference, but I just ordered a pair of fleece-lined Timberlands and I wear them everyday. They keep my feet really warm and dry, while simultaneously giving me a look that stands out. Most people seem to be getting a little tired of Uggs, so if you’re looking to change up your winter footwear, give Timberlands a try!

Flannels

Oversized flannels look adorable with tight-fitting pants or leggings with boots. You can even dress it up with tights and heels if you want to turn it into a dress.

Beanies

Having a bad hair day? Cover it up with a beanie. No one will be able to tell what your hair looks like if you have a hat on, and it’s a fashionable solution that will also keep your head super warm.

Pea coat

In my opinion, pea coats will never go out of style. They come in bright colors that look really sharp and pull an outfit together. Pair it with a cute hat, beanie and glove combo, and you’ll look like you just stepped off of a float at the Macy’s Day Parade.

Furry vest

Pairing furry vests with a tight, long-sleeved shirt is a fairly new fashion trend this winter. Wearing that with tight black pants or tight leather pants and bootie-heels is a great look for going out that allows you look cute even if it’s cold out.

Skater skirts

Skater skirts are really flattering on any body type and look great with tights or knee socks and bootie-heels in the winter. It’s comfortable to wear out on those chilly snowy nights. This is a go-to outfit that’s always guaranteed to look good.
