Get Me On ‘The Traitors’

In the spirit of The Traitors: New Blood, I know I could win The Traitors and provide the public with some real entertainment, and here is my explanation why.

Before discovering this show, I watched Anonymous on Peacock, and it was genuinely so interesting, so I looked at what was recommended for me after, and that’s when I saw The Traitors! I have been watching since season three with Alan Cumming (the US version), and I was hooked. I went back to watch seasons one and two, and I just finished the most recent season of The Traitors UK, where the traitors made history, and two won!

Good at Lying?

So, I have been told I’m extremely good at lying in multiple cases. I’ve also been told that it is both a good and bad thing, but it’s not like I lie about things that are truly important. When I do lie, it’s always about a super thought-out story in the spur of the moment that my friends happen to believe because of the depth and my facial expressions. This would be amazing on The Traitors and where the traitors would benefit. Also to note, the stories I do lie about are how my friends aren’t aware of my second cat or younger brother that don’t exist, but they believe me for some reason (and I say I was joking after, and they should’ve trusted their gut). Maybe it’s their fault, and I’m actually not good at lying. Guess I would have to go on the show to see!

Another example is when I won Impostor on my senior trip bus ride for hours on end whenever I was the impostor. No one caught on, although they repeatedly said how good I was.

To sum it all up, this skill, either good or bad, would be beneficial on The Traitors.

I Know the Show

As I said, I have seen this show over plenty of seasons, and I understand where the traitors go wrong and where they succeed. Strategy is necessary: a traitor might choose to murder someone to ā€˜frame’ themselves if they had heat on them (which some could think is too obvious and is reverse psychology) or murder someone else to primarily stir the pot. You need allies, and emotions can’t play a factor when it comes to deciding who to murder in the turret. In most cases where they get banished, it’s because they draw too much attention to themselves, and I know I could avoid that entirely or at least for the most part.

UK over US?

I think the traitors, specifically in the US, have a fixed mindset about their murders each night and don’t think about all of their options. Also, the US version has been facing backlash for not including a breakfast, mission, banishment, and murder in its weekly episode, and for leaving viewers with a cliffhanger. This is why I have been loving the UK version, and I feel like there is just so much more content covered, but it might also be because their episodes have already all come out.
