This fall, don’t go for the usual Tim Horton’s Iced Capp or overpriced Starbucks Frappuccino.  Believe it or not, you can make a drink just like you see on Pinterest or Tumblr in just a few minutes with little ingredients. Spice up your drinks this fall with one of these great and easy recipes that will make all of your friends think you work at a coffee shop.

1.) Spiced Apple Cider

On a cold autumn day, a warm glass of apple cider is one of the best things. In order to achieve the spiced flavor, all that one will need are:

-Fresh Apple Cider

-Cinnamon Sticks

-Anise Pods

First, you should pour the apple cider into a pot and heat it until it begins to boil. Then put in a desired amount of cinnamon sticks and anise and let simmer.  Let cool, and then pour a glass! You can even top it off with whipped cream.

2.) Pumpkin Milkshake

This cool treat can be a refreshing yet sweet treat to have.  What you will need to make this is:

-Vanilla ice cream/Pumpkin ice cream(if you want more flavor)

-Milk

-Canned pumpkin

-Cinnamon

Make sure to blend the ice cream, a desired amount of milk based on the consistency you enjoy, a scoop of canned pumpkin and a dash of cinnamon. Blend and enjoy!

3.) Cinnamon Water

Okay, so this recipe is pretty straight forward all you need is:

-ice

-water

-cinnamon

Combine all ingredients and let sit.

4.) Pumpkin Hot Chocolate

This unique, tasty drink is actually a lot easier than you would think! The ingredients needed include:

-Pumpkin pie spice

-Honey

-Hot Chocolate mix

-Whipped Cream

-Cinnamon

First, make a hot chocolate like you normally would, and when it is hot add in a teaspoon of honey and scoop of desired pumpkin pie spice. Stir and let cool.  After it is at a decent temperature, put on whipped cream and sprinkle some cinnamon on top.

5.) Golden Apple Punch

This is one of my favorite drinks that I make when fall is just beginning!  It’s a cool drink to have as the weather is cooling off. What you will need is:

-Apple juice

-White grape juice

-Ginger Ale

-Lemonade

Combine all ingredients in the same amount in a pitcher or some type of container. Add ice and serve with a garnish of an apple!

Making drinks can be fun and easy if you follow these simple recipes! Whether you’re in your dorms or at home these can be done by a simple and cheap trip to Walmart!
