As a college student, I don’t always have the money to splurge on high-end makeup like I would like to, but I have found that drugstore and cheaper makeup sometimes works just as good, if not better! Here is a list of some of my favorite drugstore products that I absolutely love!

1. Nivea Men’s Post Shave Balm ($5.59)

I first jumped on this bandwagon after watching NikkiTutorials on YouTube. Nikki used her husband’s after-shave after reading the ingredients and finding that it basically contained those same ingredients as in a primer. If you can get over the slight manly smell, this would be a great swap for your high-end primer!

2. Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso ($8.49)

This blush is to die for! Very similar to NARS Orgasm blush, I can’t see myself buying anything other than the Milani blush for my everyday wear, just because of how beautiful it really is. It also makes my skin look super glowy and healthy. And it looks great on just about every skin tone…Score!

3. L’OREAL True Match Super Blendable Makeup ($9.99)

Wearing foundation almost everyday can be a bother, but when you have a liquid foundation that looks like your skin, only better, you can’t go wrong. Not only are there so many shades, but also it’s so easy to blend onto the skin to make it look naturally flawless. I definitely reach for this on the daily.

4. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser ($8.99)

I will buy a new one of these concealers even if the tube is only half empty, if that tells you how much I love it. It has such good coverage and really hides the trash bags under my eyes, which I really appreciate.

5. Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara ($5.99)

Whenever I do my eyebrows, I don’t really feel complete until I set the product in place, whether it’s a colored or clear gel. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel works great, but it’s a little annoying to buy every time. But this clear mascara works just as well. It holds the hairs in place, and prevents the product from moving off of my brows.

6. NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams ($5.99)

All of my friends know that I am absolutely obsessed with lipsticks, but my budget doesn’t really support my addiction. However, NYX has my back with these lip creams. They’re so unbelievably pigmented, creamy and smooth, and last for a long time. Not to mention the range of shades, which is amazing!

7. ColourPop Cosmetics ($5-8)

Though theses aren’t drugstore products, the price of everything on the ColourPop website is so worth putting it on the list. When I say that I love every product, I mean every single product. From super-pigmented eye shadows to long-lasting liquid lipsticks, you really can’t wrong.

8. L.A. Girl Pro Concealers ($2.99)

I believe that I have saved the best product for last. Not only are these concealers incredibly cheap, but also they have to be one of the best that I’ve ever used, and I’ve used many. I especially love the darker shades to use as a cream contour, and they just blend so beautifully. I definitely have this as a staple in my makeup bag.

I hope you try and enjoy these products as much as I do!
