A yellow bird (A tribute to my grandmother)

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Savannah chapter.

If the flowers could talk they’d say your aroma smells like sunflower seeds in the ground with the petals of 10000 roses on top.

If the ground could speak they’d talk about your fertile womb and the roots you’ve grown into 3 generations

If the wind could whisper,it would talk about the breathe that could leave footprints in your heart

But the birds are the true story tellers, they could tell your stories better than the flowers & wind put together. Something about that Mary Ellen that had a soul brighter then yellow bird feathers.
