The school year is starting and it is important to introduce the executive board of our chapter for all the amazing work they do as our chapter could not function without each one of them. Each one of them plays a role in our chapter to help it succeed and run smoothly. These ladies are part of the reason that I love being a part of Her Campus. It takes a lot of people to help our chapter to be connected and run at a Diamond level while being such a small chapter/school.
Campus Correspondent: Veronica
I have been the CC for two years going into my third and before that I was the event coordinator. I am an Early Childhood Education Major with an endorsement in Special Education and a minor in music. I work two jobs on campus. I work for student activities but I am the D.E.I. Ambassador which I absolutely love. I am also a member of DAPi. The other club that I am very involved in is SAAT(Sexual Assault Awareness Team). My role in this organization is the Director of Social Media and I am a Sexual Assault Advocate. I can also proudly say I am a first generation college student in my family. This will be my last year as CC @ SAU as I student teach this spring and graduate in May. I am so excited for what my last year of college will hold.
VP-Creative Director: Maddie
She is majoring in Chemistry with a minor in Math. She is a female in a male dominated area and she is thriving. She is also on the Swimming Team. She is always the first one to volunteer to help when it is needed and never misses anything even with her crazy schedule which is partly how she has become one of our VPs. Maddie will oversee all of our social media team and events board. She is the queen of our TikTok with her fun and interactive videos. Her hobby right now is crocheting and the ideas that she makes like animals and clothing is unbelievable.
VP-Editor in Chief: Abby
She is majoring in Human Performance and Fitness. Abby never misses the chance to bring our favorite HC Bunny to meetings when she is able. She is super sweet and helpful and never misses an event. Abby is our other VP and her main focus will be on everything editorial as well as involving community outreach or D.E.I. on campus.
Senior Editor: Cassie
She is majoring in Secondary English with an endorsement in ESL. She works incredibly hard and I can’t wait to see how that transfers into her future classroom. Cassie has been our senior editor for a year already and will soon be passing down the title as she prepares to student teach/graduate soon.
Associate Editor: Katie
She is in the CRJU Masters’ Program at SAU. This is a 4 +1 Program. Katie is a returning editor. Katie is a first generation college student. She is a student that is hard working but also has a smile most of the time. She is always there when I need a hand with events.
Editor: Dani
She is majoring in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Special Education. She is also a work study for the music department. Dani will also be Student Teaching in the spring and graduate in May. She is also a plant mom.
Editor & Social Media-Instagram: Elena
She is majoring in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Special Education and a minor theater and writing. She is also on the executive board of TAC(Theater Appreciation Club). Elena can be found always helping at events either running them or taking photos. Elena will always be carrying 3-4 books in her backpack to just free read. She is such a bookworm. Elena will also be Student Teaching in the spring and graduate in May.
Social Media-Pinterest: Lindsey
She is majoring in Sociology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Pre Law. She is also involved in SAAT. Lindsey is a first generation college student. She also has experience working on our events team.
Social Media-Tik Tok: Kayla
She is majoring in Business Management and Marketing with minors in Communication and Art History. She is also on the Bowling Team. Kayla was very involved last year on our Tik Tok page.
Social Media-Twitter: McKennah
She is majoring in Nursing with minors in Biology and Psychology. McKennah has a lot of experience working on our social media platforms over the past year. She is also involved very heavily in Dance Marathon along with the Nursing club/organization on campus.
Social Media-Instagram: Haley
She is majoring in Music Education with a concentration in instrumental education. Haley is a first year student here and involved in several of the music ensembles. She is also involved in PRISM & DAPi. Haley is also a legacy member as she is related to another current member.
Community Outreach Director/D.E.I.: Julia
She is majoring in Forensic Psychology. She is also incredibly involved on campus in multiple other clubs. She is a member of PRISM(Promoting Respect in Sexual Minorities), along with SAAT. In SAAT she is an Executor(president). She is also a Sexual Assault Advocate. Julia is a student athlete on top of everything else. She plays Golf at SAU.
Co-Events Coordinator: Julieanna
She is majoring in Forensic Psychology. She is involved in the Athletic band playing the mellophone. She also plays on the Lacrosse team. Julieanna is also a member of DAPi. She is also a second year member.

She is majoring in Business. She is also involved in Athletic band and Symphonic band as a Flute player. She is a second year member with this being her first year on the executive board. (She is pictured on the far right in the photo below)
