Rock Songs From the 90s and 2000s I Still Love

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SAU chapter.

I’m an early 2000s baby, but I grew up on rock and grunge music thanks to my parents. I attribute my music taste today largely to early exposure to this genre. Here’s a brief list of some of the songs I still jam out to and love as an adult (a little TOO much) plus a few I have found on my own. There are some classics in here and also a few you probably do not already know. If you have a nostalgic playlist and love this era as much as I do, this is the time to start adding to it!

  1. ‘Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)’- Deftones
  2. ‘Superman’s Dead’- Our Lady Peace

  4. ‘So Contagious’- Acceptance
  5. ‘If You Could Only See’- Tonic
  6. ‘All I Really Want’- Alanis Morissette
  7. ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’- Nirvana
  8. ‘I Get It’- Chevelle
  9. ‘1979’- The Smashing Pumpkins
