Revisiting My Bucket List

My undergraduate career is winding down with two years of graduate school to follow. With the bigger life events coming up, what better time to prepare a bucket list than now?

  • uncheckedComplete a 50 mile trail race
  • uncheckedRide a horse
  • uncheckedTravel to Iceland
  • uncheckedSee the Alpabzug in Switzerland (tradition where Swiss cows return from their summer in the Alps and they get made up all pretty with flower crowns and decor)
  • uncheckedPerfect a butternut squash soup recipe
  • uncheckedSee a water buffalo in person
  • uncheckedFind a beer that I *actually* like
  • uncheckedHave my own flower garden
  • uncheckedWear dresses more casually
  • uncheckedCreate a home that my children and grandchildren want to come back to
  • uncheckedLearn how to snowboard
  • uncheckedParticipate in Floatzilla
  • uncheckedVisit Acadia National Park

I will revisit this again to continue to add more and *hopefully* cross some off within the next year or so.

Beyond HC, Kirsten is involved on campus with the Quercus social media and editorial teams. She plans to attend St. Ambrose University to pursue her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Kirsten is majoring in Psychology with a minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

In her free time, Kirsten likes to write poetry, play disc golf, and try out family-owned restaurants! A fun fact about Kirsten is that she loves whale sharks.
