Meet this week’s Campus Celebrity, Paige Yarger. Whether she’s processing books in the library or working on homework in the Beehive, you’re bound to see this busy bee somewhere on campus. I had the pleasure of sitting down with Paige today (and pretty much every other day because she’s my roomie) to hear a little more about her. With that being said, I present to you, Paige Yarger.

What are you studying here at Ambrose? Elementary Education with endorsements in Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies
What are your interests/hobbies? Ice cream, Pinterest projects, working out, LMN marathons, and High School Musical sing-alongs with the roommates
What are you involved with on campus? I’m on the Dance Marathon Family Relations Committee and I’m the Kappa Delta Pi Education Honors Society Treasurer. I’m also an avid Bingo player.
What’s your dream job?If I could choose ANYTHING, I would be a wedding planner. Thanks to Jennifer Lopez for that inspiration.
You might still be a junior, but do you have any plans for after graduation?After graduation I hope to get a job as a teacher and then travel during the summers. And I guess eventually get married to one of the past Campus Cuties (Billy).
Who is your role model?My mom is definitely my biggest role model. She’s always been there for me whenever I need her and she sends me pictures of my cat daily.
Any advice for underclassmen?Try everything. Your first friends at school may not be your last, and that’s okay.

What movie could you watch over and over again and never get tired of? The Devil Wears Prada or The Wedding Planner
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you bring?As cliché as it sounds, I’d bring my phone for sure—gotta stay up to date on all of that social media. I would also bring my cat Toby because he’s adorable, and I guess my third pick would be Billy.
If you had to pick a favorite vacation spot, where would it be?Barcelona, Spain. Go if you haven’t.
What are three things people probably don’t know about you?1. I’m an avid Diet Pepsi drinker.2. My guilty pleasure is Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders: Making the Team.3. I’m an extremely picky eater; I’m the girl that gets pasta and no sauce in the caf and picks the pepperoni’s off of pizza.
