It didn’t take long for my inspiration to pop into my head. The woman who inspires me the most is my mom, who has taught me almost everything I know today. This is a common answer for most girls because our moms are the first best friend we’ve had in our lives. Seeing my mom go through so much at a young age and picking herself up again and again, while being alone was very impactful to me. She’s been hurt so many times in her life, but had never caused any wrong to anyone who might’ve done the same to her because of that empathy she carries. She put herself through college while working full time, taking care of my siblings and I, and dealing with heartbreak. I’ve always thought of my mom as being a soldier and being stronger than I have, but every day she gives me a reason to push harder. I wish one day I could repay my mom for everything she’s done for me and no one could ever make me think different.
