Some of my favorite self care diy things to do when I want a nice self care night. You can either do this with your friends or by yourself. I tend to pop in a movie while doing myself care time so I just just sit back and relax. 

DIY Masks: Pick 1

  1. Honey & Milk(Blackhead removing mask)
    1. 1 tablespoon honey
    2. 1 teaspoon milk
    3. Cotton bud
  2. Soothing Green Tea Mask
    1. Green Tea
    2. Coffee
    3. Olive Oil

Facial Steam: Pick 1

  1. Lemon Peel & Chamomile Tea
    1. Reduces dark spots & blemish scars
  2. Basil & Black Tea
    1. Reduce Puffiness 
    2. fights oily & dark skin
  3. Green Tea & Rose Petals
    1. Soften and smooth skin
    2. Helps skin retain its moisture

Foot Soak:Pick 1

  1. Listerine Foot Soak
    1. Relaxes the feet &  removes dead skin cells
    2. Relieves skin dryness
    3. Removes feet odor
  2. Milk Foot Spa
    1. Relaxes and relieves skin dryness

Body Scrub: Pick 1

  1.  Baking Soda Scrub
    1. Treats acne & Pimples
    2. Removes blackheads
    3. Maintains skin pH
    4. Exfoliates Dead skin cells
    5. Lightens dark spots
  2. Tea Tree Oil Scrub
    1. Prevents breakouts
    2. Blemish free skin
    3. Fight acne causing bacteria 

Have Some Tea: Pick 1

  1. Sleep: Lavender Tea
  2. Stress & Anxiety: Chamomile
  3. Emotional Wellness: Peppermint Tea
  4. Depression Help: Lemongrass Tea

Drink Water: Pick 2 min!

  1. Immune Support
    1. Add orange, apple, ginger root
  2. Stress relief
    1. Add strawberry, pineapple, basil
  3. Energize 
    1. Add lemon, raspberry, peach, watermelon

Activities: Pick as many as you want

  1. Yoga: Do for 5-10 mins
  2. Go for a run: 1 mile
  3. Journal: 5 minutes
  4. Take a nap: 20 minutes
  5. Take a bath: 10 minutes just sit and relax
  6. Go for a walk: 10-15 minutes
  7. Paint your nails: Time TBD
  8. Get a massage: Time TBD
  9. Meditate: 30 minutes
  10. Light Candles and lie down & relax: Time TBD
  11. Color and listen to peaceful music
Veronica A(V) is the Campus Correspondent at HC @ SAU. She oversees the entire chapter including editorial, events, social media, etc. Beyond HC, V is involved on campus. She is the President of DAPi. She is the Social Media Director for SAAT, and a Sexual Assault Advocate. Veronica is majoring in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Special Education and a minor in Music. She is currently student teaching!!! In her freetime, V plays the flute and other instruments and can sing. She used to play and coach softball. Veronica was born in Florida but now lives in Illinois. She also has 2 cats at home. She was the D.E.I. Ambassador for 2 years.
