The Quad Cities has a lot of iconic places to eat at whether you are from here or living here for college. Here is a list of some places that are delicious and won’t break the bank.
Happy Joe’s Pizza
Happy Joes is a Quad Cities staple! They have great pizza and is definitely a place I would recommend. They also offer gluten-free pizza and have vegetarian options.
Lagomarcino’s
Lagomarcino’s is a great place to have lunch. The restaurant has been in Downtown Moline since 1908, so it has a lot of historical charm. The food, sodas, and desserts are really good too!
Arthur’s Garden Deli
Arthur’s is a great restaurant. It’s the perfect place to go if you want a really good sandwich. They also have really good frozen yogurt.
Hungry Hobo
Hungry Hobo is another good sandwich place. Hungry Hobo has really good waffle fries with cheese and has good cookies. This is a true Quad Cities staple.
La Rancharita
La Rancharita is a super good Mexican restaurant. They have a pretty wide variety of food so there are a lot of options. I would recommend steak fajitas!
Jim’s Rib Haven
Jim’s Rib Haven is the best barbeque I have ever had! You have to try it! I would recommend a pulled pork sandwich if you don’t want to get messy. If you want to just go for it, then go for the Boney Box.
Cafe Fresh
Cafe Fresh is one of my favorite places! If you are in the mood for a salad, wrap, tacos, etc, this is the place for you. They have a wide variety of food and everything tastes super fresh!!
LemonGrass Cafe
LemonGrass is an amazing Thai restaurant! The food is great and there are a lot of different options. I would recommend the tangerine chicken!
Barrel House
Barrel House is one of my current favorites. I would recommend the southwest salad, pickle chips, the firecracker shrimp quesadillas, and the pulled pork sandwich.
