The Quad Cities has a lot of iconic places to eat at whether you are from here or living here for college. Here is a list of some places that are delicious and won’t break the bank.Â
Â
Happy Joe’s PizzaÂ
Happy Joes is a Quad Cities staple! They have great pizza and is definitely a place I would recommend. They also offer gluten-free pizza and have vegetarian options.
Â
Lagomarcino’s
Lagomarcino’s is a great place to have lunch. The restaurant has been in Downtown Moline since 1908, so it has a lot of historical charm. The food, sodas, and desserts are really good too!Â
Â
Arthur’s Garden Deli
Arthur’s is a great restaurant. It’s the perfect place to go if you want a really good sandwich. They also have really good frozen yogurt.Â
Â
Hungry Hobo
Hungry Hobo is another good sandwich place. Hungry Hobo has really good waffle fries with cheese and has good cookies. This is a true Quad Cities staple.
Â
La Rancharita
La Rancharita is a super good Mexican restaurant. They have a pretty wide variety of food so there are a lot of options. I would recommend steak fajitas!
Â
Jim’s Rib Haven
Jim’s Rib Haven is the best barbeque I have ever had! You have to try it! I would recommend a pulled pork sandwich if you don’t want to get messy. If you want to just go for it, then go for the Boney Box.
Â
Cafe Fresh
Cafe Fresh is one of my favorite places! If you are in the mood for a salad, wrap, tacos, etc, this is the place for you. They have a wide variety of food and everything tastes super fresh!!Â
Â
LemonGrass Cafe
LemonGrass is an amazing Thai restaurant! The food is great and there are a lot of different options. I would recommend the tangerine chicken!
Â
Barrel House
Barrel House is one of my current favorites. I would recommend the southwest salad, pickle chips, the firecracker shrimp quesadillas, and the pulled pork sandwich.Â
