Radios playing Christmas music. Stores donned with Christmas lights and decorations. Coffee shops advertising holiday-themed drinks. Need I remind you people that IT IS ONLY NOVEMBER? Now, before you call me a grinch, you must understand that I love Christmas, but I think its due time that Thanksgiving gets a little loving.

1. It’s an opportunity to make your gratitude known. Take it. There is so much to be thankful for.

2. It’s literally a day focused around eating. What’s not to love?

3. Speaking of food, Thanksgiving leftovers are the best leftovers of all time. I will fight you on this.

4. It’s a holiday celebrating cooperation, tolerance, and brotherhood: three things we could use a little more of nowadays.

5. Pie.
