Whether you’re a senior or a brand new Bee, snapping pictures of your favorite memories is an important part of college. Pictures are an amazing way to make time stand still, capturing memories and emotions that you’ll be able to cherish forever. Call it a trend or a rite of passage, but here are five pictures every student at SAU should take before they graduate.
1. Your freshman dorm
You might have hated it when your mom turned move-in day into a photoshoot, but you’ll be glad this moment was captured. If mom’s camera was dead by the time you got your futon set up, make sure you take a pic standing in front of your first home away from home’s door!
2. Gaines Street sign
Call it basic, but these pictures are always super cute. Go solo or grab some friends and make it a photo-shoot!

3. Rookie’s
If you didn’t take a picture in front of the blue wall, were you actually at Rookie’s? Make sure you snap some pictures at every Bee’s favorite bar in Davenport!

4. The library
You have, or if you’re a freshman, will be spending A LOT of time here. Make of it what you will, but don’t forget to remember all your hard work by getting a picture at the lib!

5. St. Ambrose statue
Our namesake statue is one of the first things people see on Locust Street. Maybe it was the first thing you saw on your campus visit!
