While Christmas is over a month away, this doesn’t mean you can start the celebration early. Since we’re all college students balling on a budget, decorations may not be as elaborate as they are at home. Have no fear, bees. Here are three inexpensive ways that college students (or anyone) can decorate their dorms for Christmas.
1. Lighted Christmas Tree
You might be struggling on where to put your mini Christmas tree in such a small dorm room. Instead of having a tree that takes up space, shape your Christmas lights on the wall into a tree. It’ll leave your friends thinking you’re extremely creative, and it adds some flair to your room.
2. Ornaments
Make your window(s) a little less boring by hanging ornaments, lights, and ribbon. This will take almost no time, and will give your dorm the holiday feel you’ve been looking for.
3. Decorative Pillows
If you’re not too big on decorating but you want to be apart of the Christmas spirit, add a few Christmas themed throw pillows! It’s super simple yet festive. You can also diy your own pillows with friends for a fun night in.
