Planning a Halloween party can stir up a cauldron of challenges. Getting caught up in the fluster of pumpkin carving, spooky decorations, and downright creepy eats, one may have forgotten about a very important element of their spectacular Halloween bash: the musical playlist. No one wants to be caught dead at an awkwardly silent house party where your tacky gossip can be heard from around the room. So, grab your friend’s speakers, your computer and let’s get the foundation of this playlist started. Whether you are sitting back or dancing upright, let the buzz of these 13 tunes tantalize your listening senses.

Track One: “Dracula’s Wedding” -Andre 3000

Track Two: “Howlin’ for You” -The Black Keys

Track Three: “Monster Mash” -Bobby Picket (I know what you’re thinking
no not the “Monster Mash,” but hear me out. It’s a classic and it’s sure to get your guests laughing in no time.)

Track Four: “That Old Black Magic” -Ella Fitzgerald

Track Five: “Evil and a Heathen” -Franz Ferdinand

Track Six: “The Boogie Monster” -Gnarls Barkley

Track Seven: “Last Living Souls” -Gorillaz

Track Eight: “Doing it to Death” -James Brown

Track Nine: “Your Body is a Wonderland” -John Mayer

Track Ten: “Bones” -The Killers

Track Eleven: “The Devil’s Workday” -Modest Mouse

Track Twelve: “Wicked Wisdom” – Of Montreal (Play this one using good judgment. It can turn into an ‘I’m awkwardly trapped in a car with my family while a particularly explicit song is playing’ situation really fast.)

Track Thirteen: “Running With the Devil” -Van Halen (End with a classic!)

These funky conventional and unconventional terrifying tracks will have you rockin’ and rollin’ long into the
night. Have a wonderful and safe Halloween.

Later Gators!
