The Best Dessert places in San Francisco to Satisfy your Sweet Tooth

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at San Francisco chapter.

Looking for a place to get your sugar fix in San Francisco?
Here are a few places that will do just the trick.

1.   Candy Bar

Desserts and cocktails, say no more. The atmosphere at Candy Bar is lounge style with an urban flair. There is a wide variety of delicious desserts and cocktail choices. Not age 21 yet, no worries! They allow any age and leave the bar open for 21 and over so you can still join in on the fun. An even bigger bonus, Candy Bar allows you to pick a board game from their wall while you wait for your dessert.

2.   American Cupcake

Holiday parties, school parties, and birthdays; it seems though we have grown up with cupcakes. At American Cupcake they incorporate classic American flavors with a fun modern twist. Some of their cupcake flavors include: s’mores, pop rocks, red velvet, cotton candy, banana cream, and bubblegum. The atmosphere here is just as playful as the flavors. You can hear top 40 playing from their store a block away. It is very sleek inside and at night you can enjoy a light show right above your table.

Located in Japantown’s underground mall, this place is no secret. There are literally over 30 choices of crepes at Belly Good. Ask for your crepe wrapped and you will get to have a scoop of ice cream on top decorated as a fun character.

4.   The Crème Brulee Cart

Sometimes it’s in Castro, sometimes it’s in the Mission. When you finally catch up with this truck you won’t regret it. It is simply decadence on wheels for a small price of $4.

5.   Bi-rite Creamery
Featured on The Today Show and in several magazines, Bi-rite is raved about all over the
city. All the ice cream here is handmade in small batches. They even hand make the toppings for your ice cream. You will defiantly taste the difference and feel like a kid again.
