Afrobeat is a genre of music that originates from West Africa. Being Nigerian, Afrobeats are my go-to when I have an urge to listen to music (which is literally all the time). Since the love for music and my culture are both so strong, I thought it would be cool to share an Afrobeats playlist of SOME (emphasis on some) of my all time favorite songs.

“Fela In Versace” – AKA

“On The Low” – Burna Boy

“Ye” – Burna Boy

“Dangote” – Burna Boy

“Killin Dem” – Burna Boy

(Any Burna Boy song, honestly)

“Like Dat” – Davido

“Nwa Baby” – Davido

“Sote” – Korede Bello

Mr. Eazi’s Life is Eazi discology (thank me later)

“Blessings on Me” – Reekado Banks

“Ginger” – Sona

“Case” – Teni

“Uyo Meyo” – Teni

“All Over”- Tiwa Savage

“Soco” – Wizkid

Honestly, this list doesn’t even scratch the surface of all my favorite afrobeat songs or artists. I do, however, hope that some of these songs opens you up to a different genre of music.
