This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Salisbury chapter.

Although spring semester is still a few months away, and we have yet to enter the holiday season, it’s time to start strategizing.

Here’s a few tips to help you ease in to next semester!

Be Proactive: As of now, you’re probably aware of how much is too much. So, don’t overbear yourself with too many classes.  Try to plan accordingly. Remember we all need a little TLC.

Check Your Requirements: it’s one thing to accidentally sign up for the wrong course, however it’s another thing when it’s too late to drop it. So, make sure your checking up on what your graduation requirements are looking like. Besides, who doesn’t want to graduate on time.

Optimism is Key: This semester may have been a rough one so far for some of us. I can attest to many times I’ve felt defeated and helpless. However, I realize how a lot of us internalize our feelings of hopelessness and defeat and we fail to realize that it’s not the end of the world.

So, next time you’re feeling down over a bad grade or drama with friends, know that you have the power to change your situation and that things will get better if you believe.
