Ciara Leaps Into Homage to the Late Whitney Houston

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Salisbury chapter.

“I’m every woman, it’s all in me!”

R&B singer Ciara seems to be living and enjoying the pregnancy life right now. The 31-year-old released a video early today lip-syncing Whitney Houston’s remake of “I’m Every Woman,” paying homage on the fifth anniversary of Houston’s death.

The song was originally sung by the late Chaka Khan.

The video shows the singer dancing around her home while singing to her son, Future Zahir Wilburn, and her husband, Russell Wilson. The video was choreographed by choreographer Galen Brooks, who have worked with artists such as Janet Jackson, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, John Legend and many more.

Many of Ciara’s followers were frightened for her when she took a huge leap on to the couch next to her son. Twitter user @JeleonDijon shared the following tweet:

“If there’s anybody that can make pregnancy look fun, it’s @ciara! But I sure did catch a heart attack when she leaped onto that Couch!”

However, many followers feel as though the video was a subliminal message for a gender revel for her future child.

Could Ciara possibly be having a girl? Guess we would have to find out later this year from the Wilson’s.
