YouTubers to Inspire You to Get Fit

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Saint Mary's chapter.

With summer and shorts season right around the corner, if not already here, I’m doing my best to hit the gym more, eat healthier and tone up, just like many belles are! One thing that helps me learn new workout routines, recipes, and keep me motivated is following YouTubers who share their workouts, food, and fitnes journies. Here are some that keep me motivated!

Kristee Vetter: https://www.youtube.com/user/strawberryelectric48

I’ve been following Kristee since I was in 8th grade, and she’s transformed from a “beauty guru” (remember the days when everyone was a beauty guru?) to a fitness vlogger in her first year of graduate school. She’s new to fitness and healthy living, and it’s motivating to watch her journey, especially as someone who also doesn’t consider themselves an expert in the fitness lifestyle!

Cassey Ho: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIJwWYOfsCfz6PjxbONYXSg

Cassey Ho of Blogilates is one of the most popular fitness YouTubers, with 4 million subscribers. I’ve been following her since I was a junior in high school, and I love her workouts! She films and uploads pilates exercises, but also some cardio and recipes, too. She founded POP Pilates, pilates set to pop music, which is now a nationwide style of pilates you can get trained and certified to teach in, and you can take POP Pilates classes at some gyms! She also has her own line of active wear, POPFLEX Active.

Cambria Joy: https://www.youtube.com/user/breelovesbeauty

Cambria’s videos are all about her California carefree lifestyle, and range from videos about motivation, recipes, daily vlogs, workout routines, and videos about her Christian life. She really does emphasize healthy mind, body AND spirit, which as a Christian, I appreciate! But even if the religious videos aren’t you’re thing, she has plenty of videos about maintaining a healthy body and mind through exercise, healthy eating and a positive mind set! She definitely exemplifies being California-chill.

Bianca Franco: https://www.youtube.com/user/fashionblogger11

If you’re trying to balance a healthy lifestyle with typical college living (calories from alcohol, a college budget, super busy, etc.), Biana is the vlogger for you! Her vlogs show her balancing have fun in college while still taking care of her body. Not only does she film her workouts and food, but she also vlogs her college experience, from going out on her 21st birthday to sorority recruitment and going on vacation for spring break.

I hope these YouTubers help motivate you as much as they motivate me!

I love fall, holidays, PSLs and forcing my dog to take pictures with me for Snapchat.
