Greta Van Fleet is jamming hard to bring back the sounds of late 60s and early 70s classic rock. Composed of four members, the three brothers (Josh Kiszka, vocals, 22) (Jake Kiszka, guitar, 22) (Sam Kiszka, bass/keys, 19) and their friend (Danny Wagner, drums, 19) are breaking the glass ceiling and reinventing rock music for the millennial generation.  Raised on their parents vinyl collections, their music is heavily influenced by rock ‘n’ roll , blues, and soul. 

Originally from Frankenmuth, Michigan, Greta Van Fleet have just begun their music career.  Their single “Highway Tune” skyrocketed them to fame in early 2017 and gained the attention of famed artists such as Elton John, Justin Bieber, and Nikki Sixx.  After launching their EP “From the Fires”, Greta Van Fleet gained the attention of the free spirited and rebellious youth of the 21st century. Currently they have two #1 singles and are touring America and Europe.  Reaching their audience, they play small concert venues and big music festivals.  Just this past summer they performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Illinois. jnm

After resonating with so many people and gaining immediate attention and success, the band is now set to release their first album titled “Anthem of the Peaceful Army.” Set to be released on October 19th 2018, the band has been releasing teasers and photographs to get their audience excited.  So far, the band has dropped three singles, each song is off their new album. 

The members have shared that they want their music to serve the purpose of spreading “peace, love, and unity.” Their focus on nature, rebellion, and youth is powerful and instills excitement and action into their listeners.  Quickly soaring to fame, Greta Van Fleet is playing an important role in today’s music scene.  Bringing back classic rock to a new audience is not an easy task, yet Greta Van Fleet has swiftly taken on the job.
