Hygge is a Danish word for a mood of coziness, something characterized by wellness and contentment. Hygge is a set of practices which makes one feel comfortable. Here’s a guide to celebrating hygge in your everyday life by embracing everyday luxuries. 

1. Use candles or string lights.

2. Bake.

3. Decorate the indoors with plants.

4. Use a facemask. 

5. Call friends and family. 

6. Drink something warm, like tea or cocoa. 

7. Indulge in your favorite food.

8. Take a walk. 

9. Read your favorite book.

10. Disconnect from your phone.
