Why did you decide to become and RA?Â
I really wanted to share my Saint Mary’s experience with the new students and being an RA provided me with that leadership opportunity.Â
What is your favorite part of the job?Â
Being a part of my residents beginning of their college career and seeing them grow and become comfortable with their Saint Mary’s experience. It has been really nice seeing some of them become attached to and in love with a community they weren’t 100% certain about at the very beginning.Â
Favorite spot on campus:Â
The flower garden between the island and le mans
Why did you come to Saint Mary’s:Â
Saint Mary’s provided me with a small size community that I was searching for, but also an environment that would challenge me to be better with different opportunities it provided. It had the ideal professor to student ratio I was looking for; the size of the college has since given me the ability to not only to know my professors but also get to know my fellow students. I have had an opportunity to easily create life long friendships. Also, the leadership opportunities offered are plentiful, I have found myself interested in so many things that I have even time for, which I think is so wonderful.
Favorite college experience so far:Â
In all honesty, I have really had countless wonderful experiences at Saint Mary’s these past three years; making friends, meeting new people, and developing life long friendships. One particular experience that stands out this past year I got an opportunity to go to Indiana University with a couple other Belles to take part in a National Selling Competition. While I have had countless of memories outside of the classroom, this was definitely one of the most enriching and really valuable experiences.
What do you wish  you could tell your freshman self:
Things are not always going to go according to your plan and how you react to that is really important, so being able to think on your feet and react in a really positive way, look at things in the best way really helps. Also being open minded with the whole experience, meet a lot of different people- I have learned that every person brings a totally different perspective in your life that isn’t worth missing out on.Â
Dream Job:Â
Eventually, I would really love to get involved with the United Nations.Â
What is something not a lot of people know about you:Â
Mmh, this is a super hard one.. well, I had never had a carmel apple before I came to America, one of my best friends brought them from home one time and ever since then she brings them every time for me whenever she goes home because I am so obsessed with them.
