5 Ways to Uplift Women During Women’s History Month

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Saint Mary's chapter.

March is Women’s History Month, a time dedicated to the contributions of women who have created an impact in the past and today. Here are some things you can do to celebrate the women in your life.

1. Read a biography or memoir of a prolific woman.

2. Donate to a charity which supports women, such as GEMS [ https://www.gems-girls.org/about-anything ]

3. Support the mentorship of girls, such as with Girls Inc. of New York City [ https://www.girlsincnyc.org/ ]

4. Listen to music written or sung by women or buy an album, such as The Breeders (seen below).

5. Listen to a speech made by a prolific woman.
