Stranger Things is returning this summer, and that means we are getting tons of sneak peeks and trailers. The show’s most recent trailer made me especially excited for what we may be seeing in season three.
1. The new neon and permed 80’s aesthetic.
I appreciate that we are embracing all the best (and worst) trends of the 80’s in this new season. Pink neon? Funky patterns? Perms? Sing me up!
2. A Max and El friendship!
From frenemies to besties is the trope-beating character growth I live for.
3. Steve’s retrun as the “dad” of the group.
He may look like a kid in that uniform and he may be friends with pre-teens, but he’s still their dad.
4. The bomb soundtrack.
I can see a good soundtrack on the horizon when the trailer is already jammin’.
5. The Goonies vibes.
Now more than ever before, it seems we have all the characters in one place, and that means we are achieving ultimate Goonies vibes.
