So it’s that glorious time of year again- yes, Belles time to break out all your beloved fall garments as the humidity FINALLY evaporates and the crisp air settles in for awhile. Can’t you just picture yourself casually strolling down the avenue, pumpkin spice latte in hand while hearing the satisfying crunch of leaves as you walk? Personally I’ve been tracking the weather day by day until I can eventually unpack all my favorite pieces from the boxes beneath my bed. As we all know, styles are changing faster than you can walk to the dining hall for brunch, so here are four great and affordable fall must haves that will never go out of style!
1) Infinity Scarves
I’ve searched high and low for the perfect accessory (just ask my wallet) to complete the cutest fall outfit and there really is no better one than the scarf. What’s not to love? Between the infinite styles to choose from (see what I did there?) and the warmth they provide, it definitely makes my top list. I just found one suitable for winter and fall at Forever 21 for $7 (hold your applause) so it’s safe to say you’ll see me sporting them around campus within the next few weeks.
2) Leggings
Alright let’s be honest leggings are 100% acceptable year round in my book but now it’s socially acceptable to wear them daily without being judged hardcore. Not to mention you can pair them with just about anything and pull it off! My favs are with thick sweaters or long sleeved blouses to create a look that works just about anywhere.
3) Boots
Boots= every fashionista’s weakness. There’s a pair for every occasion you can think of and one more for good measure. There’s just something satisfying about the empowering sound of your boots clicking along the sidewalk. It’s a struggle choosing between ankle or riding… Either way I was able to score big this year at 6.pm and I love seeing where other girls get theirs.
4) Sweaters
Cozy knit sweaters are arguably the epitome of fall fashion. Let’s admit, we all obsessively hoard them with no shame. Fortunately the rest of the fashion industry agrees with us and you’ll be able to find one in every shape, style, and color whether you’re trying or not. Be sure to hold tight to your wallets… not that I speak from personal experience or anything…
